Nasi Kerabu Box Set with Chicken Rendang

I learnt how to make this Rendang when I was in Malaysia from a local aunty and I am excited for you to try it in the comfort of your own home. 

The chicken is grilled until golden brown and then cooked with the rendang paste. 

The paste is cooked down with a lot of ingredients until it is rich, thick and creamy. Coconut has been toasted until it is dark and fragrance, it is then blended until the natural oil is released. It is then cooked with lots of fragrance and herbaceous ingredients into a delicious paste.  

All your need to do is simply reheat the chicken straight from the bag, the rice is also ready to be cooked straight from the bag with a premixed blend of dry herbs and butterfly pea flower for that signature blue. 

Crush over the prawn crackers for that extra savoury flavour and crunchy texture along with the Asian lemongrass and Kaffir lime leaves infused cucumber pickle. For that spicy kick, the box includes a jar of our home-made sambal belancan too!

The cooked meat will be packaged in a special thermal bag that can retain a cool temperature for 48 hours, ensuring that the meat stays fresh.

Notes and Delivery:

All the meat are vacuum-packed and then placed inside a thermal pouch with ice packs that will stay cool for 48hours.  All our rice boxes with meat inside will be delivered only using 24hours delivery service.
